Our hair is what we call our crown glory. It makes a sudden change in your appearance every time you change your hair fashion. But how will it be your crown glory if you are suffering from hair loss?

Hair loss is a condition when men or women are encountering sudden hair fall. Clinical studies proved that 65% cases suffering from hair loss are women rather than men. Meaning, hair loss is more severe in women compared to men; but luckily, hair loss resulting to total baldness are cases that often occur in men rather than in women.

There are a lot of causes to be considered why women are having hair loss problems. First common reason why women suffered from hair loss is having a baby. Usually, it takes three months until they will notice that their hair strands are falling. This is because of the hormones during their pregnancy. When the hormones are back to its normal level, the hair fall stops then a normal cycle growth begins.

Another cause of hair loss is because of the effects of medicines to your body. Some medicines that cause hair loss are the blood thinners or also called as anticoagulants, medicines for gout problems that lower blood pressure, medicines for heart diseases, some oral contraceptives, antidepressants, and too much intake of Vitamin A. Sometimes, hair loss may occur because of some diseases like lupus or diabetes. Always remember that hair loss may be the first sign of a disease. Seeking help from health experts may have an effective way to treat these kinds of diseases and could stop hair loss.

Third, hair loss can also be a result of too much stress and pressures at work. Stress could be physical and psychological. Thinking too much of problems may cause hair loss. It is better to rest for a while and relax your mind.

Fourth, hormones have a contributing factor why women are suffering from hair loss. Your may have hair loss if your thyroid gland are not working as well as if it is working too much. Loss of hair occurs when hormones like estrogens and androgens are not balanced. Making ways to make it balance will stop your problem in hair loss.

Lastly, improper care of the hair also causes hair loss. Wearing pigtails or using tight hair accessories may result to hair loss. Pulling your hair tight will cause the scarring of your scalp. If this happens, it will lead to permanent hair loss or baldness.
